2. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale set out the terms under which the Institute provides its music tuition services.
3. Enrolment
All enrolments constitute full and unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
The practical arrangements (format, frequency, duration, time slot and teacher) are agreed at the time of enrolment.
4. Fees
The fees applicable are those in force at the time of enrolment, as stated on the website or communicated directly to the client.
All prices are stated in euros and are inclusive of all applicable taxes (VAT included).
5. Payment Terms
Payment is made by debit or credit card (via Stripe) or by direct debit (via GoCardless).
Any monthly payment not made will result in the immediate suspension of lessons until full payment has been received.
Any payment received after the 7th of the month may incur an administrative fee of €15.
6. Organisation of Lessons
Lessons are scheduled on a fixed weekly time slot, unless otherwise agreed.
The Institute reserves the right to change the teacher, timetable or room for organisational reasons, and this shall not constitute grounds for immediate termination.
7. Cancellations and Absences
Any cancellation must be notified at least 48 hours in advance.
Failing this, the lesson will be deemed payable in full.
Any catch-up lessons are offered at the Institute’s discretion and are not guaranteed.
8. Minimum Commitment
A minimum commitment of three (3) months is required from the lesson start date.
No termination shall take effect before the full completion of this minimum period.
9. Termination and Notice Period
Beyond the minimum period, any request for termination must be notified exclusively by email to the Institute’s official address.
A notice period corresponding to four (4) consecutive teaching weeks, in accordance with the student’s contractually allocated time slot, is mandatory.
This notice period shall take effect from the first day of the calendar month following the Institute’s written acknowledgement of receipt.
The four lessons comprising the notice period are fully payable and chargeable, whether or not they are attended by the student.
Any notification sent via WhatsApp, text message or any other informal means shall not be considered valid.
In the absence of proper notification, monthly payments shall remain due.
10. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the client has a period of fourteen (14) days from the conclusion of the contract to exercise their right of withdrawal.
However, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal may not be exercised if the performance of the services has begun with the client’s prior express consent.
By confirming their enrolment and requesting that lessons begin before the expiry of the statutory period, the client expressly acknowledges that they waive their right of withdrawal in respect of services already performed.
No refund may be claimed for lessons already delivered.
11. Liability
The Institute shall not be held liable for any interruption or inability to perform arising from force majeure or events beyond its reasonable control.
12. Intellectual Property
All teaching materials, methods and content used remain the exclusive property of the Institute.
Any reproduction or distribution without prior authorisation is strictly prohibited.
13. Personal Data
Personal data are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the website.
14. Governing Law
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction shall lie with the courts within the district of the registered office, unless otherwise required by law.
