Isn't it true that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year? Have you noticed how everyone seems to be in a better mood and inclined to pat themselves on the back?
I personally enjoy the Christmas season and think it is the most wonderful time of the year. We allow ourselves to pamper ourselves and our loved ones. It's the time of year when fun takes precedence over everything else, I think we can all agree on that!

I like to decorate and buy gifts for my friends and family, which I enjoy wrapping as nicely as possible. Finding gifts is fun, but it can also be difficult. It can sometimes be difficult to choose the right gifts for certain people, especially if I don't know their exact taste.

Christmas gift on the piano keys

If you're reading this, it's probably because you know a piano enthusiast and you don't know what to get them. A few years ago you could have gone to Virgin Megastore and got a plethora of amazing recordings, but times have changed and the vast majority are now available on YouTube. This can also be a problem if you don't regularly check your friends' CD collection and don't know what they're missing. If you make a mistake, they'll end up with two similar recordings and your gift won't be appreciated.

If you still want to take the risk of expanding your collection, you will have many questions.
You know your loved one loves the piano, but should you choose Bach, Beethoven, Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninov, Debussy, Ravel, Schoenberg, Berg or Messiaen? And his favourite pianist? Samson François, Emil Gilel, Dinu Lipatti, Alfred Cortot, Arthur Rubinstein, Sviatoslav Richter, Maurizio Pollini? Krystian Zimerman, Martha Argerich, Evgeny Kissin, Claudio Arrau, Samson Francois, Emil Gilel, Dinu Lipatti, Alfred Cortot, Arthur Rubinstein, Sviatoslav Richter, Maurizio Pollini ? Isn't it getting more and more complicated?

You would have the same problem if you went to La Flûte de Pan on Rue de Rome and had no idea what piano pieces he would be interested in learning. You don't know his exact level, and trying to buy a piano score that might be suitable would be futile.

Another option is to buy a ticket for a concert, but you may run into the same problems: which date, which pianist and which repertoire?

But you can't go wrong with a gift voucher for piano lessons. Who wouldn't want to improve their skills and benefit from the advice of an excellent piano teacher?

This is a wonderful idea as it is suitable for everyone, regardless of level or ability. You can also be sure that none of the above problems will arise as your loved one can choose the style they wish to study and learn the piano pieces of their choice.

At the Paris Music Institute, we are pleased to offer you the possibility to buy gift vouchers for Christmas, offer a few packages that you can choose from. Depending on your budget and/or preferences, you can buy a single lesson or a package of 5, 10 or 20 lessons.

Because we specialise in teaching adults, you can be assured that your loved one, whether a beginner, intermediate or advanced pianist, will be in good hands. We are delighted to work with exceptional piano teachers who are patient and adaptable to each student. They are very encouraging and will never reprimand your loved one.

You are probably wondering if the time of our piano lessons will fit in with your schedule. There is no need to worry as all our piano lessons are given on a one-to-one basis, and lessons can be scheduled by the recipient after they have received their 'gift voucher'. We are open Monday to Saturday, so booking an appointment should be simple.

Christmas is a great time of year, so don't be afraid to spoil your loved one!

In my opinion, gift vouchers make great Christmas gifts as they allow the recipient to use them as they wish and the experience will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Attending a performance is great, but it only lasts a few hours, whereas taking piano lessons allows your loved one to actively participate and learn.

Isn't that a priceless gift?
