We’re always delighted to meet advanced amateur pianists at the Paris Music Institute. We’re impressed by their ability to balance a demanding professional career with accomplished piano playing.
We’re pleased to welcome advanced amateurs from all walks of life to our piano lessons: lawyers, bankers, engineers, accountants, insurance brokers, financiers, writers and even television producers. Everyone is welcome, and we’ll be delighted to help you refine the piano repertoire you are working on, without ever judging or criticising you. On the contrary, we will help you resolve known issues or point out other weaknesses you’re perhaps unaware of. Of course, we will build on your strengths to help you become a more well-rounded and more « professional » pianist.
We’ll gladly adapt to your tastes and wishes, whether you would like to work on Baroque, Classical, Romantic or modern repertoire. You may decide to focus on your technique, or you may prefer to improve your tone production. We’re here for you at the Paris Music Institute and will assist you with all your needs.
We’ll also be delighted to introduce you to other advanced amateur pianists who would love to meet you and perhaps work on piano duets. It’s entirely optional, but it could be a wonderful idea if you’d like to share your enthusiasm with other piano lovers.
Our piano lessons for advanced amateur pianists are held at the Paris Music Institute on rue du Colisée in Paris’s 8th arrondissement. We’ve created a calm, non-judgemental setting to ensure that your piano lessons take place in a peaceful environment. To get the most out of your piano lessons, you need to take them in the right environment.
We work only with the finest piano teachers, who’re passionate about sharing their love of the instrument with amateur pianists and who’ve extensive experience in teaching piano to adults. You can therefore be confident that you’ll receive the most suitable piano tuition.
We will be delighted to support and guide you throughout your piano journey, whether you are tackling Bach’s Variations Goldberg, a Liszt étude or Berg’s sonata.
